Walter "Pete" Weaver

Walter H. “Pete” Weaver Jr., 54 of Boones Mill, Va., passed away Friday September 27, 2019 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Weaver Sr., mother Martha Weaver, paternal grandparents, Oscar Weaver, Bertha Weaver, Maternal grandparents Wilford and Helen Spangler. He played football for Franklin County High School and won many trophies shooting pool. He is survived by his sister Tara Weaver, nephew Chase Weaver (Chelsea), niece Kaley Weaver, grandnieces Mykenzie, Carleigh, Braelynn Weaver, numerous aunts’, uncles and cousins as well as a very special friend Eldridge Starkey. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
