Webb Mullins Goode

Geneva Mildred Webb Mullins Goode, age 87 of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 27, 2010. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother and a lifelong member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She was born December 25, 1922 a daughter of the late William McKinley Webb and Ethel Handy Webb. She was preceded in death by a brother, Warren H. Webb; and a sister, Ruby W. Woods. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Earl Jackson Mullins and her second husband Kyle Goode. She is survived by two sons, Russell Mullins (Patricia) of Rocky Mount, and Donnie Mullins of Callaway; two grandchildren Corrinna Pagans (Clifford) and R. Leon Mullins (Stephanie); three great-grandchildren, Dustin Pagans, Cheyenne and Alex Mullins; three stepchildren, K. Edward Goode, Sr. (Reva) Rocky Mount, Ann Allison (Bob), Burlington, NC, & Barbara G. Stone, Roanoke. Also surviving are three sisters, Estelle W. Greer, Rocky Mount, Bernice W. Cook, Mahomet, IL, Doris W. Williams, Abingdon, MD; two brothers Morris Webb, Callaway, Lloyd Webb, Rocky Mount. The family would like to say a special thanks to Sally and Barry Martin and their special staff, Havila and Sharon who took such good care of our mother and to the Carilion Hospice of Franklin County staff, Danielle and Morgan. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 with Rev. Leonard Castleman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Clearview Cemetery. The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made in her name to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, 390 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA, 24151.
