William B. Robertson

William Buford Robertson, age 82 of Penhook went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 3, 2010. Mr. Robertson worked for VDOT for 31 years. He was born April 12, 1928 to the late William O. and Nannie Grace Smith Robertson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Gilbert and Wilson Robertson; and a daughter Nora Grace Eggleston. Surviving are his wife of 60 years Belle Robertson; children Mary Lou Gibson; William Buddy Robertson and friend Melissa Simmons, Deborah and Bernie Ferron John and Tammy Robertson and Timothy David Robertson; special friend Darrell Jefferson; 16 grandchildren including a special grandson Will Robertson; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters Rachel Young, Gloria Davis and Casteen Davis; brother and sister-in-law Henry and Nellie Robertson. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Cool Branch Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2010 with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the Penhook Free Holiness Church Cemetery.
