Edith Campbell King age 96 of Roanoke passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 3, 2022. She was a member of Clearbrook Grace Brethren Church. She was born on December 27, 1925 a daughter of the late William McKinley and Lottie Hofawger Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. King; one son, Rick King; and brother-in-law, Clarence Carter. She is survived by her son, Kevin T. King (Amy); grandchildren, Michelle Marshall (Tim), Haden King and Callie King; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Fanning (Brad), Tyler St. Clair; great-great-grandchildren, Liam and Laila Fanning, Brayden St. Clair and Annabelle St. Clair; her beloved sister, Mildred Carter. She is also survived by other relatives, many friends and her church family. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Sink officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
